Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza was born in 1984. She is an American actor and comedian. She is April Ludgate, a character on Parks and Recreation. After performing sketch and improv comedy in The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza made her web series debut with the Jeannie Tate Show. Later in her career, she was a part of Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and The World. It is fitting to celebrate her birth today. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington Delaware) is the daughter Bernadette Plaza, an attorney by profession and David Plaza a financial consultant. She is the daughter of Puerto Rican parents and an Irish-English mother. Plaza received a degree at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts as well as a Catholic, all-girls high school in 2006, after having graduated in 2002. She was the president of her high school's student government and was a part of Wilmington Drama League productions during her senior year. Plaza was disabled for a moment in 2004 following having a stroke. It is now clear that she has. Plaza started doing sketches and improv at New York City's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. In New York City, she has appeared in stand-up shows on stage at The Improv and The Laugh Factory. Plaza has appeared in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show as the character that of Robin Gibney and was also in the role of Ben Schwartz, as well as appearing as Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions. In CollegeHumor Troopers, she portrayed a satirical science-fiction character called the Princess. Plaza was first seen as a saxophonist with the band Cassorla's Bona Fide. However, she first appeared in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings from 2012. HarmonQuest, in 2016, was a show that featured Plaza with the character of Hawaiian Coffee. That same year, she played Aaron Burr on Drunk History and Cat Adams during Season 11 C.B.S. Criminal Minds, a TV series. It was her first time returning for the character in Season 12. A year later it was confirmed that Plaza was to appear on the indie comedy An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
